Irish Soda Bread

Irish soda bread. Have you ever heard of it? I hadn’t until Big Hache had mentioned that he made it for a get together once  for St. Paddy’s day. This thing was the YUM! My family loved it. *I* loved it and was impressed with how beautifully it turned out. I don’t remember the exact recipe he used but there are decent ones online that I am sure you can find. This one pictured used baking soda (of course) and buttermilk. Its taste paired very well with the mild boiled corned beef and hearty collared greens Big Hache also prepared and served up. That was a wonderfully filling meal and I do believe we all got more than seconds on it! Read the rest of this entry »
