The Manatee Cafe

This wonderful cafe is a delight! Almost bordering on being a shrine for manatees, this place has a fun decor and a huge heart for sea cows. The colors are relaxing as is the atmosphere.

The majority of their food is vegan friendly and mighty good. I had their Veggie Burrito #1 (pictured above) with a side of tabouli and crunchy blue corn chips.  The sweet potato was a nice surprised and added a unique flavor to the meal. Everything tasted FRESH!  Kg (new friend!) had their veggie burger which I think I should have gotten and will probably get the next time I go. It was stacked, beautiful and I totally didn’t get a pic of it. It had black beans and onions which are a total selling point, so yeah, I think I will be getting that.

Delicious, tantalizing postcards from Tasty Cards!

What can I say? I love to photograph food and I especially like to see food platings and cafe settings. I also like to cook and am always collecting recipes of things I want to try at home. How do I satisfy this hunger even more and include mail into the mix? Enter Tasty Cards. I found out about this cool website when I registered on Postcrossing, a postcard exchange site that is pretty spiffy. I sent my very first postcard to Russia!
